Thanks, Maryann. It is hard to stay positive when you are being pummeled daily. And, I agree, it is extremely difficult to know what’s true and what’s not. I feel so let down by the media. I constantly think what people like Walter Cronkite, Huntley & Brinkley, and Ed Murrow would have to say. Not to mention – George Carlin. 😀

I, too, am a Pollyanna type and the current mess of our world has been depressing. Hard to think positive, but I try. You make a good point about verifying facts before posting things online. It’s gotten to a point where it’s hard to tell what is true anymore. I’ve recently started verifying before sharing memes and other posts on Twitter. But then I mostly interact with friends there.
