Training in Idaho: The Video

by | Nov 3, 2011 | 3-Day 60-Mile Walk | 9 comments

It is a little over two weeks before my 8th 3-Day, 60 Mile Walk for the Cure.

I started training in June – hey, these old muscles need waking up. I went from walking along the ocean in San Diego when I lived there to actual seasons and rural areas of Idaho.

This short video gives you a snapshot of my 2011 training.

Thank You

It was another tough year raising the $2,300 minimum that we need to walk. But, thanks to great contributors, we did it! You can still donate if you’d like by clicking here or at the Donate button in the sidebar.

To those who contributed – thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you for allowing me to Walk on!

    Hey Miller Cathy!

Glad to hear you reached your goal. I knew you would since you seem like a seasoned pro.

I like your video by the way. You made me smile 🙂

Hehe! Love it, Cathy! Especially those goats! Actually most of the animals looked like they were posing for you. You’re truly wonderful and inspiring for what you have already done, and are continuing to do. But that won’t stop me reporting you for fraudulently pretending to be almost 60……Thanks for sharing your training photos with us. I cannot wait for the ones you share from San Diego. xxx

Hi Nicky-thank you-especially for being my campaign manager for the 3-Day!

I love all the animals on my route-although the dogs don’t seem to love me as all they do is bark ferociously. I showed them-they didn’t get in the video! 🙂

I’m getting very anxious to get going. I leave a week from tomorrow and the Walk is two weeks from tomorrow-yay!!

Aw, Cathy, I enjoyed screeching out about your cause, although I achieved minimal compared to what you did! I can imagine how anxious you feel about it all – must be very exciting at the same time. xxx
