October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Last month I shared the fun Pink Glove Dance video created by Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon for breast cancer awareness.
Well, there’s a new Pink Glove Dance and it has gone coast to coast.
From Times Square to the Golden Gate Bridge, health care workers donned the pink gloves.
Great additions to this year’s video are breast cancer survivors shaking their booty in celebration.
But, first — a word from our sponsors.
Share the Promise
Nancy G. Brinker made a promise to her sister, Susan G. Komen, who was dying from breast cancer. We share the promise in the fight against breast cancer.
The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure has a 3-Day, 60 Mile Walk for Breast Cancer in 15 cities.
So far, the event has been held in 8 cities and the last event occurs in San Diego – the weekend before Thanksgiving.
This will be my 7th year participating in the San Diego Walk. My sister, Terry, is a 10+ year survivor.
We have to raise a minimum of $2,300 to walk. I am $455 short.
- If you would like to donate – any small amount – click on the 3-Day button in the right sidebar
- I am also wearing names of loved ones affected by cancer or those lost to cancer
- Send me their names and I will be honored to wear them
Now, enjoy the sequel to the Pink Glove Dance!
