This is dedicated to my sister-in-law, Robin Miller. This was originally posted on August 28, 2011, two days after her passing.
Today on August 26, 2016, it has been five years since Robin left this earth. Her family and friends still remember her laugh, her love, and her dedication to her family. We miss you, Robin.
In Memory of Robin Miller
There are some people you meet that are all about family
Robin was one of those people
Everything she did was for the love of her family – her husband (my brother), her children and grandchildren
What I remember most is her laugh when you caught her off-guard
Something I was good at doing – although nowhere near the Master my brother is
She celebrated her family and her faith
As we should celebrate Robin
When the sadness overwhelms, close your eyes
Remember the love you never questioned
The embracing arms that held you close
And the devotion that was always hers
Thank you, Robin, for the gifts you so freely gave
We treasure you in our hearts

A beautiful tribute Cathy.
Thank you, Kim.
Sorry about your loss Cathy. I bet writing the tribute was something good for you to do.
Thank you, Ramiro. I appreciate the support.
A lovely and touching tribute, Cathy. Sorry you have lost someone so dear, but it’s wonderful to have had someone so wonderful, even if for too short a time. A heart-warming photograph too, what a lovely smile. Thank you for sharing with us.
Thank you, Nicky. It’s one of my favorite photos of Robin.
Beautiful tribute, Cathy. It’s so hard when a bright light in our lives is extinguished. Much love as you remember your sister-in-law.
I’m not really sure why Feedburner decided to send this out again. Maybe it was Robin’s idea to remember all that is precious during the holiday season. Robin was like that. Thanks, Lori. Hope you have a blessed holiday season.
