Outside my office window

Springtime in Idaho

Tulips have always signaled Spring to me. This picture is right outside my office window – look, tulips!

It’s official – Spring is here.

Springtime Means 3-Day Training

It actually reached 70 degrees today in Boise, Idaho. Like most places in the country, Spring has been a long time coming. There has been rain, rain, and more rain. And there is still snow in the mountains. Hello? May, here.

May is also when I start my training walks for my next 60-mile, 3-Day Walk for breast cancer. This will be my 8th year participating.

For those of you who take your monitoring responsibilities seriously, I spent a couple hours on my eBook about my previous 3-Day Walks. I hope to raise money from the eBook so I can participate in the Walk. Each walker has to raise a minimum of $2,300.

I know you are an over-achiever, so feel free to donate now.

  • Click on the 3-Day Walk link here or above –or –
  • Click on the pink Donate button in the right sidebar
  • Make sure you have the Cathy Miller with the Fight Like A Girl team

Apparently, there is another Cathy Miller registered in San Diego. Imagine that – two Cathy Millers. Hey, that sure has never happened to me before.

Subscribe to the RSS feed or sign up for the email subscription (upper right side) so you don’t miss the ongoing saga of training for another 3-Day. There’s never a dull moment.

I have to sign off now to get ready for my first training walk of the season.

Wishing you beautiful Spring days and a lovely weekend.

Thanks, Ryan. I survived the 1st training walk, so that’s a plus. 🙂 Of course, it was a pretty short one, but it all starts with a single step, right? 🙂

Thanks for stopping by, Ryan, and sharing the good thoughts.

Me, too, Holly! Thank you for the best wishes. I’ll take them. 🙂 Part of my team is walking in San Francisco in September and I walk in San Diego in November. I don’t think I can raise enough money for both walks (some of my teammates are doing both), but I will definitely be in San Francisco to cheer them on.

I look forward to checking out your blog. Thank you for stopping by and have a fabulous Springe weekend. 🙂
